We are at digestion and I will start by naming off some major parts of the digestive system.
-Mucosa
-Submucosa
-Muscularis
Stomach
-Fundus superior

-Goblet cells (mucous)
-Parietal cells (HCl)
-Cheif cells (pepsinogen)

The small intestine is the most important part of the digestive system.
Bile salts break up fat and increase surface area. – it is not an enzyme.
The breakdown of carbs, proteins, lipids and calcium happen in the duodenum.
Large intestines is where reabsorption of water happens.
The role of digestion is very important and don’t forget it all starts in the mouth with your teeth, and salivary glands.
